I thought I would start off by showing some things I've made in the past.  This is the shirt I made for the Peanut's 2nd birthday.  I would like to make her a shirt every year (at least until she gets too old and it's not cool anymore) but I'm struggling to come up with an idea for her 4th birthday next month.  And how the heck is she turning 4 already??

Two years ago I decided that she needed a personalized Cookies for Santa plate, so here's what I came up with.

This is probably one of my very favorite items I've made.  I gave it to church to sell at a festival.  The first person who walked up bought it.  I really need to make one of these for myself.

Here's a little before and after picture.  We don't have a fireplace, thus no mantle, in our house, so we were in need of a stocking hanger.  My husband and I bought this ugly one.

And I turned it into this, and I'm thrilled with how it came out.  Oh, and yes, our dog gets a stocking too.  Her life of being spoiled came to an end when the Peanut was born, but there were 4 hooks, so Shadow made the stocking hanger.

I'll also be using this blog to show crafts that I do with the Peanut.  This might be one of my favorite Christmas decorations ever.  I found the idea on Pinterest.

As you can see, getting a not quite 3 year old to hold her hand still for hand prints is no easy task, but I think that makes it that much better!  Hope you enjoyed seeing some of the crafts I've done.  Happy Saturday, and hope you find some time to do some crafting this weekend.  I'm off to start a new crochet project, I'll post pictures when it's complete.
